Know God

Would you like to personally know the God of love today? You can experience His love right now. If you are not sure that you will live with God forever, you can be sure! You can receive forgiveness of all your wrongdoings (sins, things that separate you from God).  Please read "How to Receive Christ" in the following section.

How to Receive Christ

·        Admit your need (I am a sinner and I need God).

·        Be willing to turn from your wrongdoings (sins).

·        Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the dead.

·        Pray and invite Jesus Christ to come in and take control of your life through the Holy Spirit.

 What to Pray

“Dear God, thank you for loving me. I believe that Jesus died for me on the cross. I need your forgiveness and I am sorry for my wrongdoings. I ask you to give me a new life. I now invite you to come into my heart.  I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

What the Bible says

If you have prayed this prayer, welcome to the eternal family of God and your new life in Jesus Christ! Here are some Bible verses to help you understand more.

“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong” (1 John 1:9 NLT).

“For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins” (Rom. 3:23-24 NLT).

“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment. For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God—all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God” (Rom. 5:8-11 NLT).

“He is the sacrifice for our sins. He takes away not only our sins but the sins of all the world. And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By obeying his commandments. If someone says, "I belong to God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and does not live in the truth. But those who obey God's word really do love him. That is the way to know whether or not we live in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Christ did” (1 John 2:2-6 NLT).
